First of all, we would like to draw readers' attention to our new partner R1 Development, a development company that creates a new generation environment and specializes in the construction of industrial, logistics, commercial and residential real estate. Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
CEMAT exhibition in Hanover, one of the largest events in the field of intralogistics, has come to an end. “LOGISTICS” journal participated directly in the event by presenting the annual digest in English «RUSSIAN LOGISTICS JOURNAL» on its stand. All the days of the event, our editorial board closely followed the work of the exhibition.
The LOGISTICS journal will take part in the work of the leading international exhibition CeMAT-2016 devoted to intra-industrial logistics and freight flows management to be held in Hanover from 31 May to 3 June 2016 and will present the Digest of the journal in the English language – the RUSSIAN LOGISTICS JOURNAL-2016 ‒ to the visitors.
The well-known consulting company Market Guide Agency, the publisher of the LOGISTICS journal presents the RUSSIAN LOGISTICS JOURNAL-2016 – the digest of the journal in the English language ‒ to the visitors at the CeMAT exhibition.
Oleg Protsenko, Doctor of Economics, professor, Rector’s Advisor of RANHiGS under the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Director of the “Institute of Management and Marketing” Faculty, addressed to the readers with his words of welcome. According to his opinion, the last spring month of 2016 is completing the peculiar period of uncertainty in the development of the Russian economy.
"Modern logistics cannot be imagined without information technologies", ‒ said Dmitry Novikov, Doctor of Economics, professor, Head of the innovative logistics department in ITKOR, who addressed to the readers with his words of welcome. According to Dmitry Novikov, key factors in materials management are the speed of data acquisition and of data processing, the ability to handle large arrays.
Oleg Nikolaevich Kurbatov, the Editor-in- chief of the “LOGISTICS” journal, PhD in Geography, addressed to the Readers with his opening words. According to him, in recent years the format, structure and volume of the transport and logistics market in Russia have significantly changed. In many regions, high-quality logistics infrastructure has been created, and measures are taken to improve legal and regulatory framework.

There has been published the second issue of the Digest of authoritative Russian "LOGISTICS” journal - Russian Logistics Journal‒2016 which represents the best materials published in Russia in 2015‒2016. The purpose of the Digest is to inform the world scientific and professional community about the state of logistics science and logistics business in the Russian Federation.
“LOGISTICS” journal №2 of 2016 published the article written by Yulia Kislova, Director of Market Guide Agency, PhD in Economics, “Methods of calculating the commodity segments capacity of the transport and logistics services market by averaged transport leg in terms of the delivery units (“First Mile”, “Inter-Terminal”, “Last Mile”) on the example of pharmaceutical products” The article shows and substantiates the methodology of calculating the capacity of the commodity segments for the market of transport and logistics services, developed by the Market Guide Agency.
The second issue of the journal in 2016 is a theme one and is devoted to the logistics for online and offline retailers. E-commerce is quite relevant now- today it is the e-commerce that is one of the most promising lines of business. Nevertheless, the efficiency of e-commerce depends substantially on how well the company has arranged logistics processes and their information provision, as well as the delivery of the orders to the customers.
Vitaly Borsch, acting MADI Rector, Doctor in Engineering addressed to Readers with introductory words. «This edition of the oldest Russian journal on logistics has been prepared jointly with the organizing committee of XIX Moscow International Logistics Forum (MILF) and includes the Forum basic materials.
