Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
Victor Sergeev, Doctor of Economics, professor, Head of the Chair of Supply Chain Management in the National Research University Higher School of Economics, addressed to readers with his introductory word. Victor Sergeev summed up the results of 2015. According to him, «LOGISTICS» tries to embrace all the areas of logistics as before, covering important events in the life of the country and in the logistics of the world.
On December 15, 2015 Yulia Kislova, Director of the «Market Guide Agency» spoke at a meeting of the Dissertation Council D 212.049.02 as an official opponent of the thesis of Pavel Sergeevich Shashkin on the theme: «Managing the Process of Material Resources Procurement at the Industrial Enterprises in the Conditions of Price Instability», on competition of a PhD degree in Economics, specialty 08.00.05 «Economics and National Economy Management: Logistics».
Vladimir Stepanov, Ph.D.in economics, professor of business and logistics in Plekhanov Russian University of Economics addressed to the Readers. According to V.I. Stepanov, modern logistics is experiencing a global stage of development, which provides options for merging the logistics business entities in the territorial formations, requiring changes in the structure of such associations.
Valeriy Sergeevich Lukinskiy, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, addressed to Readers; he suggests comprehensive development of logistics and supply chain management as it is very important to win the competition in the difficult time of sanctions. According to V.S. Lukinskiy the "LOGISTICS" journal, including this issue, should become the moderator in solving this problem.
Nasrullah Abdurahmanovich Adamov, CEO of ITKOR, addressed to Readers with his opening speech. In his view, the imposition of sanctions directed the economy of Russia towards the Asian markets, the instability of exchange rates has led to a reduction or temporary freezing of investment projects, including those related to the modernization of logistics infrastructure. "It has become clear that now logistics solutions are based on optimizing the costs and enhancing the effectiveness of business processes.
Oleg Dmitrievich Protsenko was born on the 27th of October, 1932; in 1956 he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of I.I. Mechnikov Odessa State University., then there was postgraduate study at the department of Economic planning of G.V.
From 22 to 25 September 2015 at the exhibition center “Crocus Expo” there will be the largest in Russia international exhibition of warehousing equipment and systems, materials-handling equipment, as well as warehouse automation systems.
The CeMAT Russia exhibition will demonstrate technological solutions and equipment for the arrangement of warehouse facilities at the enterprises and organizations of various activities: retail chains, transport and logistics companies, logistics centers and terminals, various manufacturing plants.
Oleg Kurbatov, the editor-in-chief, addressed to the Readers. He believes, changes in the domestic business, lead to global changes in the supply system of the country. The crisis in relations with the West and the policy of import substitution requires changes in infrastructure.
