Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Oleg Kurbatov, the editor-in-chief, addressed to the Readers. He believes, changes in the domestic business, lead to global changes in the supply system of the country. The crisis in relations with the West and the policy of import substitution requires changes in infrastructure. "We can now observe an excess and a lack of storage facilities simultaneously: the elements of the system, built in its time for the service of trade flows from Europe to Russia, are seriously underutilized, while logistics centers to serve the Russian producers are still in acute shortage. So, the total renewal of fixed assets, of course, requires huge investments, which are now in deficit," ‒ said Oleg Kurbatov.
The Readers will be interested in the material on the forecast of growth in demand for transport and logistics services in the Altai region in 2017‒2025.
