Dear readers! We are pleased to present you with the sixth issue of the journal for 2026, in which the theory and practice of logistics are explored in a variety of relevant areas. This issue is truly multifaceted, combining reflections on the essence of logistics processes with applied calculations and industry-specific cases.
Dear readers! This is the fifth issue of the LOGISTICS journal, dedicated to the current challenges of modern logistics.
Dear readers! We present you a new issue of the magazine dedicated to current logistics issues.
Annotation. The article presents a comprehensive study of the deployment and operation of electric route vehicles in a large urban agglomeration, using Minsk as a case study, in the context of transport decarbonization and the selection of onboard energy storage and replenishment concepts.
Key words. Transport system, electric bus, energy efficiency, charging infrastructure, Opportunity Charging, OverNight Charging, supercapacitors.
Annotation. Four theoretical and analytical approaches to assessing the aviation mobility of the Russian population, differing in their data source and object of measurement, are summarized and described. The information reserves of the approaches to assessing aviation mobility are identified. A differentiated system of aviation-mobility indicators is proposed, enabling each group of information users to rely on a relevant estimate in management without expanding the data sources.
Key words. Aviation mobility, transport policy, theoretical and analytical approach, information reserve, indicator differentiation, transport strategy, infrastructure approach, segmentation.
Annotation. The article critically analyzes the translation of «Supply Chain Management» (SCM) into Russian. Following an investigation of the concept’s foundational literature, the study justifies a refined translation of the term as «Management of Supply Chains», based on the fundamental categories of supply and demand and M. Porter’s value chain theory.
Key words. Logistics, SCM, management of supply chains, material flow, value chain, value stream, activity-based approach, capital theory, economic ontology, business processes, economic flow, margin potential, systemic efficiency.
Annotation. The article analyses the necessity of synchronising logistics processes against the backdrop of unstable macroeconomic conditions. Particular attention is given to the specifics of intermodal container transportation. A multi‑level, step‑by‑step synchronisation model is proposed to ensure effective coordination among all stakeholders.
Key words. Intermodality, containers, synchronization, logistics system, sustainability.
Annotation. The article examines the role of mergers, acquisitions (M&A), and strategic partnerships in transforming the aviation industry amid the consolidation of the transport and logistics sector. The key drivers of such deals have been identified (access to new markets, technology integration, and reduction of operating costs) and a roadmap has been developed to manage the risks associated with antitrust regulation and integration processes.
Key words. Aviation infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, airports, consolidation, aviation industry, logistics.
Annotation. This article proposes a model for integrating digital traceability and tax-spatial hub selection into the management of operational risks in international logistics. The relevance of the topic is driven by the growing number of disruptions, customs barriers, and costs. The article is useful for logistics operators and foreign trade managers.
Key words. Operational risks, international logistics, warehouse digitalization, tax-free hubs, cargo consolidation, supply chain resilience.
Annotation. The article interpretation of customs service is presented in both the traditional form and with the use of digital transformation. The stages of the evolution of customs services are highlighted and described: paper declaration, electronic declaration and automation, the single window concept and interdepartmental integration, as well as digital platforms in the customs sector. The key technological components of modern platform solutions for providing customs services are justified. The prospects for the development of customs platforms based on artificial intelligence and distributed ledger technology are considered.
Key words. Customs service, digital transformation, digital platform, single window, declaration, automation, algorithmic nature.
Annotation. This article presents the results of a study of the vegetable and fruit growing industry in the Republic of Crimea. Key indicators characterizing the economic state of the industry are identified. The state of logistics for seasonal and interseasonal storage of finished fruit and vegetable products is characterized. The shortage of warehouse space is highlighted in a group of multicomplexes with different temperature environments. The impact of this shortage of warehouse space on pricing in the region and the market's dependence on continental supplies is substantiated. A number of investment projects are identified that could partially address the issue of interseasonal storage of fruit and vegetable products.
Keywords. Fruits and vegetables, multicomplexes, warehouses, storage, investments
Annotation. The article analyzes the current challenges faced by dairy processing enterprises in the procurement process. It evaluates the specific characteristics of supply, demonstrates the impact of geopolitical factors, and presents examples of technologies that can be used to reduce logistics costs and increase business profitability.
Key words. Dairy processing enterprises, supply logistics, material resources, supply chain management.
