Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
Annotation. The article is devoted to analyzing the current state and prospects for the development of the logistics infrastructure of the Eastern Polygon. The main directions of the third modernization phase are covered. Special attention is given to the role of public-private partnerships and international cooperation for the successful implementation of the tasks. Innovative solutions aimed at enhancing the safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability of transportation processes are also examined.

Annotation. The article discusses the issues of improving the quality of transport services for low-mobility passengers and the development of the transport and logistics infrastructure of railway station complexes. The main problems in servicing passengers with limited mobility, including at the stations of the North Caucasus Railway, have been identified. The main directions of adaptation of railway transport infrastructure facilities for low-mobility groups of the population have been developed. The necessary measures to improve the service of passengers with limited mobility have been analyzed, recommendations have been made to improve communication, and the introduction of specialized rolling stock.

Annotation. Modern scientific and applicable economics regard SCM creation and management as a must to enter the targeted markets and keeping relevant market competitiveness. SCM account for quality and adaptive servicing of the markets, trade-offs balanced management of flows on the basis of parties integrated in logistics landscape, thanks to IT and advanced logistics decision making. Up-dating and improving SCM, undoubtedly has to do with the necessity of conducting logistics audit to identify and trace the so-called «bottle necks» for the subsequent supply chain designs based on the company’s marketing concepts and principles, as well as logistics methods in place.

Annotation. International customs cooperation promotes the development of foreign trade. As a rule, its effectiveness is assessed by the volumes and dynamics of mutual trade turnover, which does not reflect the activities of customs services. The author proposes an assessment system that allows tracking the development of customs cooperation and setting more precise tasks for customs authorities.
