Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
Annotation. The problem of planning cargo delivery to container terminals for consolidation into cargo containers is considered. The proposed models combine into a single general model orders for the delivery of shipped goods to the container terminal for subsequent shipment by railway transport and the reverse task of removing the arrived goods from the terminal and delivery to the final consignee. Algorithms for finding optimal routes and a software package implementing them are proposed. Examples are given.

Annotation. The article analyzes the work of railway transport during the period of sanctions against Russia and made a forecast for the development of the transport industry, taking into account the problems of not only globalization, but also the regionalization of the world economy. The problems associated with the reorientation of cargo flows to the East, as well as factors affecting international logistics are considered.

Annotation. The article is devoted to the problem of the emergence of «strategic losses», which is associated with most modern companies. Discusses the possibility of using integrated business planning to continuously align initial quantitative targets with the actual results of the organization's activities.

The article considers the technology for improving the supply processes of an industrial enterprise, aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted movement of the incoming material flow and part of the internal material flow. Recommendations are proposed for changing approaches to inventory and procurement management, generating reports in the enterprise information system, compiling documented procedures for the procurement and inventory management business processes of an industrial enterprise.

Annotation. The article discusses the prospects for the development of Armenia's logistics capabilities, taking into account new challenges and requirements in the South Caucasus region. In this regard, the logistical possibilities of Armenia for the implementation of new trade and economic relations and cargo transportation between the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, the European Union and India, Iran, China, which are of great socio-economic importance and can become a guarantor of stability and peace in the region and far beyond its borders, are presented.

Today, the development of transport corridors is connected not only with the improvement of the transport industry and infrastructure, but also with the introduction of digitalization in all its processes. The proposed article describes the algorithm of digitalization of existing and organization of new transport corridors, and offers suggestions for their modernization.

Annotation. The study reveals the origin of the term «logistics», understood as the management of material flows and stocks. The method of qualitative content analysis of authentic translations into Russian of historical documents, which are considered in educational and scientific literature, as sources of the name logistics, is used.
