Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
Annotation. In connection with industrialization and the active process of urbanization, the problem of handling solid municipal waste (MSW) and their transportation was identified. Due to the fact that the removal of solid household waste provides the necessary sanitary and environmental conditions for the existence of the settlement, the task is to find the most environmentally friendly and cost-effective ways. The article analyzes the existing methods of transportation and considers options for integrated solutions for the transportation of solid household waste, develops a logistics waste management system and provides recommendations for its improvement.

Annotation. The article deals with possible solutions of the problem of environmental pollution via the introduction of environmentally friendly transport. This paper describes the situation with electric transport in Russia, examines the development of urban transport of the capital. The article represents the problems of the industry, trends for its further development.

Annotation. The article discusses the transit opportunities of the EAEU, and in particular Armenia, as well as the main development trends in the light of new global challenges and requirements. In this regard, Armenia's special role in the geopolitical region is presented for the implementation of new trade corridors and cargo transportation between Iran, China and the EU countries, which are of great socio-economic importance and can become a guarantor of peace in the region, which is very important in today's fragile and not very stable world.

Annotation. The article analyzes the business process of working with container line customers. The conclusion is made about the possibility of presenting a business process in the form of a network model, with the help of which it will be possible to determine its strengths and weaknesses in a timely manner, and offer ways to optimize work with the client.

Annotation. The article considers a system for organizing the logistics of last mile delivery based on the use of carsharing. Mobility as a service is described for the transportation of passengers and goods. The prerequisites for modern transformations in smart urban logistics are considered. Scenarios for the use of automobility as a service in last mile logistics are highlighted. The possibility of using carsharing for the delivery of the last mile is considered, as well as a structural and functional model of the automobility as a service usage processes is proposed.

Annotation. The main approaches to the classification of logistics strategies are considered. The features of general and private logistics strategies are revealed. Highlighted the basic logistics strategies: minimizing total logistics costs, improving the quality of logistics services, minimizing investment in logistics infrastructure, the strategy of logistics outsourcing.
