The article discusses the possibility of the integration of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar into the global economy, thanks to its unique location and value in the Asia-Pacific region. The article notes the development of the liquefied natural gas market. The main flows of LNG exports and imports are indicated. Much attention is paid to projects on LNG production in Russia. Marine transport as an alternative to pipeline transport is considered and the dependence of pipeline transport on transit countries is emphasized.

This article presents the problem of operational management of material supply, which becomes key in procurement logistics in opinion of many domestic and foreign experts. Recommendations are formulated for establishment a rational system of operational management of the delivery in modern conditions. Existing methods of preparation a calendar schedule of material supply don`t take into account the dynamism of the progress of production. It is offered the method of preparation and adjustment of supply schedule for different types of production and takes into account operational changes of consumption rate and actual delivery date.
