KNAPP proposes anti-crisis approaches to solve the mostcomplex production tasks
Lean production has in its Arsenal a huge amount of effective tools and methods for reducing the main types of losses. Those who are acquainted with lean production recently, such a number and variety of instruments raises many questions, e.g. in what cases and what tools to use. The complexity of these tools increases significantly when they are applied on machinebacon production, and in related fields, such as in warehouse logistics. How to reduce losses in the warehouse, applying the tools and techniques of lean manufacturing, says this article.
This article describes the process and results of the project to reduce delivery costs in companies «VkusVill» and «Izbyonka» showed. These companies are dealt with in a single project, as have overall management and financial performance.
The article defines warehouses audit methodology and cases of companies which result essentially increases efficiency and warehousing quantity. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and its values comparison with values of the whole in complex is considered as the main key element of audit methodology.
