Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
Linearity, orderliness and structuring are the main targets of distribution, where the product consumer becomes a basic point. Accordingly, the logistics assumes a new role of the integrator in distribution chain. In this case product is considered as a valuable resource.

The article is about the calculation of parameters of modified EOQ models taking into account simultaneous multi-product supplies and all unit quantity or incremental quantity discounts. It contains developed algorithm for all unit quantity discounts as well as calculation example for EOQ model without discounts and with different types of discounts.

In recent years, many commercial and government organizations focus on the efficiency and transparency of procurement activities. Therefore the demand increases for software products that could automate the procurement process and create a competitive environment for vendors in order to obtain the best price offers. This article discusses the main benefits that accrue to the company in the implementation of the module of the corporate system for managing relationships with suppliers.

This research identifies major socio-economic indicators that influence subdivision of areas and towns in Volgograd region into groups. Normalized coefficients determining contribution of each variable to a discriminant canonical function are calibrated for all key performance indicators. Higher values of those variables for a particular area of the region suggest locating a general use warehouse in a corresponding group.
The article examines the main trends in the global transport sector, estimates the national position of the transport system in the world market modal, and the potential of Russia, arising from its special geographical position and transcontinental extent, to create integrated logistics systems.
