Modeling of warehouse infrastructure for regions of the Russian Federation

The methodology enables to consider delivery of various goods by different means. Impact of major economic drivers on selecting locations for general use warehouses in Volgograd region

This research identifies major socio-economic indicators that influence subdivision of areas and towns in Volgograd region into groups. Normalized coefficients determining contribution of each variable to a discriminant canonical function are calibrated for all key performance indicators. Higher values of those variables for a particular area of the region suggest locating a general use warehouse in a corresponding group.
European transport project “Rail Baltica”: arguments “pro” and “contra”
