Automotive components storage in the container supply chains: scenario ‒ unstable consumer demand

The article is showing a situation of unstable consumer demand at the market of brand-new cars causing short-term production plan changes and related changes in parts supply chain. Also related problem and solving methodology is described.

Analysis and Assessment of the Reliability and Resilience of Supply Chains

In article problems of assessment of reliability and stability of supply chains of vertically integrated companies are considered. On the example of the entities of ferrous metallurgy logistical risks on the site of a supply chain of "Upstream" are identified: from suppliers of material resources – to production sites. It is shown that these risks determining reliability of a supply chain "on an entrance" are generally connected with procedures of supply and inventory management of operational MRO resources.

Optimization of transport and logistics costs as a competitive advantage for the supply chain participants

Calculation of parameters of the cargo terminal of the multimodal logistic center

In the article the settlement model of the logistic terminal is considered. With use of the developed model it is possible to calculate parameters of a transshipment logistic complex, setting as initial its main characteristics. The calculation example with use of this model is given.

Status of domestic transport and logistics infrastructure to ensure delivery of Far Eastern fish products to the regions of Central Russia

The questions of the organization of delivery of domestic Far East fish products to the Central Russia in modern difficult economic conditions are extremely important. Fish products have to be delivered quickly, qualitatively and for reasonable prices for the fishing companies. It is necessary to revise the tariffs for the transportation of goods and services of infrastructure which are carried out by Russian Railways for providing the competitive environment in the sphere of transportations of perishable cargoes.
