For many years lean manufacturing or lean production proves its consistence and effectiveness in many fields of manufacturing, that helps companies which take it on board to achieve high results in business. Well-structured supply chain is also a key component of constantly operation of company and part of manufacturing, that is why it also needs Lean introduction. Companies connected with transportation of liquid bulk cargo are especially hard up with this conception.

In article discusses the efficiency evaluation of functioning of logistic system by means of risk management. The reasons causing difficulties of implementation of new methods of management are analyzed. The essence of the main scientific approaches to logistic management is determined and disclosed. The article discusses systemic aspects of the methodology of systems engineering methodology as applied to the field of logistics and supply chain management. Logistics Engineering is an effective method of integration in the management of complex organizational and technical objects in relation to the field of logistics systems. In article problems of assessment of reliability and stability of supply chains of vertically integrated companies are considered. On the example of the entities of ferrous metallurgy logistical risks on the site of a supply chain of "Upstream" are identified: from suppliers of material resources – to production sites. It is shown that these risks determining reliability of a supply chain "on an entrance" are generally connected with procedures of supply and inventory management of operational MRO resources.
The necessity of optimization of transport-logistic expenses of participants of chains of deliveries is grounded. In the article, and also the corporate model of transport-logistic expenses of chains of deliveries offers an author.
