The article discusses systemic aspects of the methodology of systems engineering methodology as applied to the field of logistics and supply chain management. Logistics Engineering is an effective method of integration in the management of complex organizational and technical objects in relation to the field of logistics systems. Analysis and Assessment of the Reliability and Resilience of Supply Chains

In article problems of assessment of reliability and stability of supply chains of vertically integrated companies are considered. On the example of the entities of ferrous metallurgy logistical risks on the site of a supply chain of "Upstream" are identified: from suppliers of material resources – to production sites. It is shown that these risks determining reliability of a supply chain "on an entrance" are generally connected with procedures of supply and inventory management of operational MRO resources.
