On its pages, we summarize the results of the international exhibition of logistics, transport, warehouse equipment and Logistika Expo, which became the main premiere of this year. Our editorial staff took part in the event, as a result of which they made useful acquaintances and found new readers. In the latest issue, we continue the topic of automation and robotization in the industry.
Dear friends! We present to your attention the fifth issue of Logistics for 2024. Like you, our dear readers, we see an increasing trend of digitalization and automation of the logistics industry, and more and more authors are paying attention to it.
Annotation. 2022 marks the 60th anniversary of the Caribbean crisis. One of the most important operations carried out by our country at that time was Operation Anadyr. The logistics route: «USSR – Republic of Cuba», the operation carried out today remains unique and has its own features, which are discussed in this article.

Annotation. The article describes the problems, possibilities and prospects of transport technology based on the vacuum magneto-levitation principle of action (VMLT). The issues of interaction of VMLT with other modes of transport are considered. Schemes of separate points for VMLT are proposed, a brief technology of their operation is described. The ways of technical and technological implementation of the ideas of VMLT are considered.
Annotation. The article analyzes the transport and logistics activities of LLC LUKOIL-Trans, including directly the schemes of transportation of oil and petroleum products. The possibilities of using railway transport with other modes of transport are compared when developing rational logistics schemes for the delivery of oil products.

Annotation. The article discusses the main transport indicators of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2016–2019, the state of road transport, the importance of intelligent transport systems for the effective development and improvement of the safety of road transport.

Annotation. The article considers the prospects for the development of the coal industry and its export potential. The facts of the development of mass coal transportation by rail in the direction of port transport hubs are presented. It is proposed to start implementing a large-scale project to develop a multimodal transport scheme for the transportation of coal for export with the use of river transport along the rivers of the Amur basin.
Annotation. In this article the dynamics of the development of the Pulkovo Airport logistics terminal at the beginning of the ХХI century is presented, and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the functioning of the airport is assessed too.

Annotation. The analysis of the state of the transport industry of the Russian Federation in the new economic conditions is carried out. The study reveals the main problems of lagging behind the domestic transport logistics in comparison with the competitive positions in this activity of the leading countries of the world. The main directions that allow to increase the efficiency of logistics activities due to the increased use of digital technologies and identification tools are outlined.

The historical aspects of the use of unique schemes for the delivery of oil cargo are disclosed, and the experience of modern transport and technological systems for oil transportation, which have been developed by expanding the development of logistics tools and principles of logistics, is considered.
