Factors creating the demand for tourist trips with recreational purposes

Annotation. Implementation of new large-scale projects of statistical monitoring in recreation and tourist spheres opens up new possibilities to analyze the needs and demand of the population. The paper is based on the data from sociological surveys conducted in European countries in the period of 2006–2016. The article reveals the factors affecting the development of demand for recreational trips and the evolution of travel needs with tourist purposes.

Using the concept of logistics in a closed loop economy

Annotation. The article discusses the features of using the concept of logistics in organizing the collection and processing of solid household waste from households. The hidden problems of reforming the sphere of domestic waste treatment are highlighted and the main directions for improving the system of their collection and processing are identified.

Logistics: survivability is an imperceptible property of the subway

Annotation. The subway – an important link of a city transport logistic chain of the large cities, and its main purpose consists in transportation of the maximum number of passengers in the minimum terms. Proceeding from the main purpose, the subway as a technogenic object, has to have a complex of properties, including survivability. For ensuring survivability in case of emergencies, the subway is equipped with regular autonomous emergency diesel power plants.

Features of pharmaceuticals logistics

Annotation. This article deals with such issues as features of reimbursement of expenses incurred by suppliers with a net profit during the transportation of drugs. The main objective of this study is to develop proposals for improving the methods of drug logistics in the case of supply of the necessary temperature conditions by the suppliers of drugs at the expense of their own net profit.

Innovative technologies in the system of logistics solutions

Annotation. The article shows the importance of logistics for enterprises, the most important logistics parameters, demonstrated the strengthening of the position of Russian logistics. In connection with the basic logistics concepts, the potential of innovative technologies for making logistics decisions is presented.

Characteristics of material flows in logistics systems

Annotation. The article discusses the differences in the interpretation of individual terms in the field of logistics, taking into account their uniqueness or differences. A comparative characteristic of direct, return and reverse material flows during their movement in the supply chain has been carried out, and separate clarifications have been proposed for the formulation of types of material flows.

Development of logistics paradigms and the place for LBP-provider of logistics barter in it

Annotation. Logistics is accompanied by a change of paradigms, namely functional, resource and innovation. But there is a major mistake of all paradigms – the lack of money failure between partners to households and the non-dominant role of supply chains, which will fix the logistics barter with its LBP-provider.

Impact of St. Petersburg ports and Leningrad region on the economy of the region and Russia (Part II)

Annotation. In this article the dynamics of cargo turnover of sea ports of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region is considered for the period from 1999 to 2018, the impact of the activity of these seaports on the importance of the domestic regional product and Russia's GDP was studied.

Economics of logistics: an electric bus or a traditional bus?

Annotation. Due to the deterioration in an ecological situation, caused by operation of a large number of liquid-fuel vehicles, heads of certain Russian regions try to solve an environmental problem replacement of traditional diesel buses with electrobus. In this case before the management of regions there is a difficult task: What to choose as a main type of public city transport – the traditional bus about DVS or the electrobus.

Dry ports – key infrastructure facilities of international importance

Annotation. High-quality transport infrastructure is one of the key elements of the modern economy. Currently, the development of transport infrastructure is of particular importance in the context of globalization of transport processes. This article discusses the concept of «dry port», the prospects for the development of such facilities in different countries. In addition the problem of lack of common terminology is mentioned.
