Dear readers! We present to your attention the fourth issue of Logistics for 2024. On its pages, we summarize the results of the TransRussia | SkladTech 2024 exhibition, held from March 19 to 21 at Crocus Expo. The organizers and guests of the event claim that the exhibition is breaking new attendance records from year to year and improving its business program.
Annotation. The article considers the e-freight system as the most promising opportunity to increase the transit potential of Russia in the field of air cargo transportation. The experience of foreign countries is presented, the advantages and disadvantages of using e-freight are identified, and the stages of implementing this technology in Russia are determined.

The analysis of the significance of identification activities in the logistics system of goods movement for the sustainable development of the transport sector in the new economic conditions associated with global trends and regional features. Data on the use of identification systems for photo and video recording of traffic violations, ground passenger transport management, automated traffic management, traffic safety, road safety and diagnostics, and incident management are presented. The conclusion is made about the need for further development of identification of objects and vehicles in the logistics system of goods movement.

Today the urgency of the problem of taxi passenger transportation in large Metropolitan areas and beyond is due to the existing market realities, which do not suit either passengers or businesses engaged in this field. In the current reality, it is difficult to ensure good quality of services, fair competition and a proper level of security. The share of aggregators is growing every year, which has significantly changed the market – most traditional dispatch services, at best, have connected to it platforms of leading companies, or have implemented their own, and many have simply closed.
