New requirements are formed on development of logistic technologies. Integration of instruments of the multimodal transporting is needed with the processes of life cycle of products. Actual is a decision of problem providing of transportation on the criterion of safety of chain of supplying with loads.

This paper describes an approach to design a network of distribution centers in the Russian Federation. Cluster and ABC-analysis methods were used to determine regions to locate international logistic centers along major transport routes. Considering the base regional social and economic indicators we show the positions of the most effective placement of centers.

There is lot of features of determination of quality of logistic process with the systems of the satellite monitoring, to ignore that does not cost. To the number basic it is possible to take: 1) this process is not an industrial product, therefore his quality difficult enough to define; 2) properties, qualificatory quality of process, must be meaningful, first of all, for the customer; 3) the quality is not an absolute value, and therefore may be considered, depending on specific requirements, so the assessment of the quality of transportation process with the use of satellite monitoring is a comparison of the requirements and wishes of the customer with real possibilities; 4) quality means meeting the requirements and expectations of the customer at the current time.
