The article deals with provisions that open up to Russian freight traffic using the Caspian transport route TRACECA, and the potential of the North-South corridor with Iranian Railway, through the Iranian port of Amirabad in the Black Sea and Bandar Abbas in the Persian Gulf. The necessity of development of Russian waterways with the transport route from Central Russia via the Caspian Sea (the port of Astrakhan and Olya), as well as the creation of a trans-Caspian economic cluster.

Use in practice “hub&spoke” model in shipping has marked a new stage in port development, which include the formation of large node centers, so-called “hub ports”. At the same time there is no commonly used general definition of a term “hub port”, and characteristics of hub ports used in literature very seriously. The goal of the article is to set up a definition of a hub port, figure out its role and significance in transport system.

In article problems of assessment of reliability and stability of supply chains of vertically integrated companies are considered. On the example of the entities of ferrous metallurgy logistical risks on the site of a supply chain of "Upstream" are identified: from suppliers of material resources – to production sites. It is shown that these risks determining reliability of a supply chain "on an entrance" are generally connected with procedures of supply and inventory management of operational MRO resources. General approach to diagnostics of a supply chain taking into account logistical risks is considered, and also the key factors and risks connected with growth of inventories of material resources are allocated. On the basis of the analysis a number of actions, the eliminiruyushchikh negative consequences of risks is offered.

The article argues the innovative content of the Kamsky innovative territorial and production cluster and externally defined content-oriented transport and logistics of its functioning. In the paper is described the formation of a mathematical model of the logistics structure. The model provides a formal representation of the state of the structure and systematization of assets. On the set of states the model makes it possible to analyze the effectiveness of past and choose the preferred options for future activities. On the model of the illustrative structure is shown the implementation of some of the practical tasks of situations assessment.
