This article discusses the methodological and practical aspects of Marketing Research to determine the parameters of regional logistics centers. Fragments of the Research of the Regional Transport and Logistics Services Markets, conducted by the Market Guide Agency in the 2010–2014, are presented in this article.

This article discusses both methodological and practical aspects of marketing research to determine the parameters of regional logistics centers. Some fragments of marketing research for the regional markets of transport and logistics services, conducted by the Market Guide Agency in 2010–2014, are cited.
Inefficient inventory management leads to the two problems: the formation of out of stock assets and the emergence of product deficit. In order to eliminate these difficulties it is need to develop the optimal strategy for inventory management. The article provide an overview and analysis of studies of both Russian and foreign experts in the management of stocks and also it is identified disadvantages of existing approaches; it is made the methodical approach to stock assessment at the rare nature of demand; it is represented the examples of calculating reserves on the basis of the developed technique.

The article defines current problems of Industrial Corporations’ Logistics Management, solving these problems will increase the efficiency level for the whole Corporation in total. According to Logistics audit was found that one of the most significant factors that changes the Corporation current position is the increasing employees’ competence level.

As part of the methodology and strategy formed of performance-based logistics (PBL) the solution to the problem of customer service on final result is relevant. Switch to PBL strategy provides a balance between the operating system readiness and costs throughout the lifecycle. Article analyses features and possible solutions of these tasks.

The article explains the basic properties of flows that are represented in simulation models of logistics systems. A new mesoscopic modeling method for flow systems is presented which is based on the Discrete Rate paradigm specified in the simulation software ExtendSim.
