Dear readers! We present to your attention the fourth issue of Logistics for 2024. On its pages, we summarize the results of the TransRussia | SkladTech 2024 exhibition, held from March 19 to 21 at Crocus Expo. The organizers and guests of the event claim that the exhibition is breaking new attendance records from year to year and improving its business program.
Annotation. The article raises the problem of logistics support for the US peacekeeping forces performing combat missions in various regions of the world. The authors consider a communication system for managing divisions and units in a rapidly changing environment. A large-scale Universal Resource Visibility (YTAV) program is described, which is able to provide all consumers with timely and accurate information about the location, movement and ownership of incoming material.
Annotation. In 2020, the economy faced a global challenge – Covid-19, which has impacted all aspects of our lives, including retail. The logistics sector has gone through hard times. In this paper, the authors consider the consequences of the pandemic for the retail warehousing market and formulate hypotheses about the possible further development of events.

Annotation. The article considers the current state of terminal and warehouse complexes in the context of ensuring the military and economic security of the CSTO. The analysis of the main infrastructure, organizational and technological problems of the CSTO terminal and warehouse complexes system is presented. In the context of the analysis, several options for organizing logistics support for the CSTO troops were proposed.
Annotation. This article presents an analysis of foreign experience in the development of stationary warehouse complexes that function in the interests of material and technical support of troops. The use of modern experience in logistics today makes it possible to integrate the supply chain of material and technical means while reducing delivery times and reducing the risks of inefficient use of financial resources.

Annotation. The essence of Vendor-managed inventory is considered and it is concluded that the concept is a rather promising way to improve the inventory management system of a trading enterprise. As a result of the study, six stages of Vendor-managed inventory implementation were identified. For each stage, the necessary actions and requirements are reflected. The risk assessment of each stage of implementation is carried out and actions that can prevent or reduce the risk are proposed.

Annotation. The article presents a study of the sphere of cargo customs transportation, offenses in this area and fines provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation. The analysis of data on violations in the field of customs services in the Russian Federation, as well as a comparative description of offenses in the field of customs services in the far East in 2016-2017. On the basis of these data, the facts of existing violations of customs legislation were identified and recommendations for their elimination were developed.
