Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.
Dear readers! We present to your attention the eighth issue of the magazine and its materials.
Annotation. The article notes the relevance of logistics performance evaluation. It reveals the essence and undertakes a comparative analysis of the most popular enterprise management concepts, using key performance indicators. The authors identify features of the use of enterprise management concepts in terms of logistics performance evaluation, and also determine the list of requirements for performance indicators.
Key words. Key performance indicators, balanced scorecard, value based management, KPI, TQM, EVA, controlling.
The article raised the problem of consistency and clarity of management processes when setting goals and objectives. Often, even at the preliminary stage of the assignment, the initial information loses clarity and unambiguity due to vague wording, confusing logic, and the lack of temporal parameters and resource additions.
Annotation. The article considers the relevance of the problem of improving the quality of airline passenger services in case of unstable passenger traffic. It proposes ways of optimizing the costs in transportation services, creating additional financial resources that can be directed to improving the quality of passenger service. Solutions are given to improve processes for managing the quality of passenger services.
Key words. Air transport, traffic management, passenger traffic, unstable traffic, quality management.
Approaches to the management of discrete production systems are considered. For the planning and management of systems, it is suggested to use models and methods of scheduling theory. To evaluate the quality of the work plan, it is suggested to use the duration of the production cycle. A method for determining the loading of equipment is indicated. Recommendations are given on the construction of optimal production schedules.
Key words. Conveyor task, schedule, equipment loading, simulation of production process.
In the article, based on the analysis of modern literature in the field of neo-cybernetics and management of the life cycle of systems, requirements are developed for a system model for the transformation of the transport and logistics system (TLS). Integration of the TLS life cycle processes is a key challenge for improving the efficiency of the transport infrastructure, including asset management in rail transport. The authors developed and promoted the system 4D-model, providing the transformation from analog to adaptive-digital control systems.
The article analyzes the long-term dynamics of improvements of the values of key performance indicators at the steel company Trinecke Zelezarny, achieved thanks to information support of the advanced planning and scheduling system. The values of the quality indicators of customer service and production efficiency are investigated. It is noted that the achieved results in the period from 2007 to 2013 not only met the expectations of the company's management, but even exceeded them.
Key words. Advanced planning and scheduling, demanding planning environment, metals.
