Dear readers! We present to your attention the fourth issue of Logistics for 2024. On its pages, we summarize the results of the TransRussia | SkladTech 2024 exhibition, held from March 19 to 21 at Crocus Expo. The organizers and guests of the event claim that the exhibition is breaking new attendance records from year to year and improving its business program.
Annotation. The analysis of the state of the transport industry of the Russian Federation in the new economic conditions is carried out. The study reveals the main problems of lagging behind the domestic transport logistics in comparison with the competitive positions in this activity of the leading countries of the world. The main directions that allow to increase the efficiency of logistics activities due to the increased use of digital technologies and identification tools are outlined. The conclusion is made about the need for further integrated development of transport and logistics activities in the domestic and foreign markets of transport services.

Annotation. In 2020, the economy faced a global challenge – Covid-19, which has impacted all aspects of our lives, including retail. The logistics sector has gone through hard times. In this paper, the authors consider the consequences of the pandemic for the retail warehousing market and formulate hypotheses about the possible further development of events.

Annotation. The article raises the problem of logistics support for the US peacekeeping forces performing combat missions in various regions of the world. The authors consider a communication system for managing divisions and units in a rapidly changing environment. A large-scale Universal Resource Visibility (YTAV) program is described, which is able to provide all consumers with timely and accurate information about the location, movement and ownership of incoming material. According to the authors of the article, the result of the creation and deployment of such control systems will be the shift of control of the military rear from the commanders of combat units and units to the chain of control of the military rear.

Annotation. Postamat is a popular and rapidly developing direction in e-commerce not only for Russia, but for the whole world. The article examines the essence and history of postamat creation, the principles of their functioning in practice, leading companies existing on the postamat network market, statistical studies of the postamat market, forecasts and prospects for its development, and also identifies the main advantages and disadvantages of this delivery method for manufacturers and consumers.

Annotation. The article analyzes the process of selecting objects of customs control after the release of goods. The problem of low efficiency of verification measures carried out by customs authorities has been identified. Based on the development of a methodological apparatus for assessing the economic effect, as well as calculations using forecasting methods, the economic effect of increasing the accuracy of the choice of control objects was determined.
