The favorable geographical position on the way of movement of goods flows from Asia to Europe makes the territory of Russia a kind of logistics hub for storing and moving goods from China to the countries of Europe and America. However, with the development of the digital economy, a significant increase in the volume of goods traffic, and increased requirements of shippers from China for the speed of order processing, the issue of automating the business processes of domestic companies engaged in providing transport and logistics services becomes urgent. In the conditions of digitalization of the world economy, Russia's favorable geographical position ceases to be a clear competitive advantage. Competitive advantages in the XXI st century economy are the degree of process automation, speed and quality of order processing.
