Dear readers! We present to your attention the fourth issue of Logistics for 2024. On its pages, we summarize the results of the TransRussia | SkladTech 2024 exhibition, held from March 19 to 21 at Crocus Expo. The organizers and guests of the event claim that the exhibition is breaking new attendance records from year to year and improving its business program.
The article discusses the coordinated work of the Crimean port (port of Kerch and Feodosia) with a complex of inland waterways of Central Russia, including the Volga basin from Astrakhan to Tver. It is proposed to consider a scheme where Crimean ports will serve as cargo and distribution centers - hubs that will enable them to play a key role in linking the external maritime logistic flows with internal cargo transportation by water transport.

Transportation of cargo in containers turned ports into multifunctional transport nodes. Sole specialization, existence of single hinterland, emergence on the St. Petersburg and Leningrad region container market of strong newcomers – all this influenced greatly the competition level in the industry. The goal of the article is to set out the ways of raising regional container terminals competitiveness. For this purpose current status and prospects of development of container business in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region will be defined.

In the paper is described the formation of a mathematical model of the logistics structure. The model provides a formal representation of the state of the structure and systematization of assets. On the set of states the model makes it possible to analyze the effectiveness of past and choose the preferred options for future activities. On the model of the illustrative structure is shown the implementation of some of the practical tasks of situations assessment.
