The paper introduces a new formalized approach to the procedure of designing an optimal warehouse network as a part of the logistics infrastructure of the distribution system. The proposed procedure of design or reorganization of a warehouse network is based on the achievement of goals and objectives, defined by the logistics strategy developed through the company's corporate strategy. Implementation of the design procedure was developed taking into account the distribution of functions of the project executors.
