Dear readers! We present to your attention the fourth issue of Logistics for 2024. On its pages, we summarize the results of the TransRussia | SkladTech 2024 exhibition, held from March 19 to 21 at Crocus Expo. The organizers and guests of the event claim that the exhibition is breaking new attendance records from year to year and improving its business program.
Annotation. The importance and competitive advantages of digital transformation of supply chains using cognitive IT-platforms are shown. The need to develop the flexibility, dynamism and visibility of supply chains based on the use of the concept / technology of Supply Chain Control Tower – SCCT is proved. The problems of visibility in the supply chain are considered as the main imperative of SCCT implementation for the purpose of control and monitoring of parameters of goods and transport flows. The results of analytical studies of the visibility of supply chains for companies in various industries are presented and summarized. The control signs of poor visibility in the supply chain are identified, as well as practical recommendations for improving visibility based on an analysis of the practices of leaders in supply chain management are given. The basic terminology is presented, the problems are identified, and the key stages of the evolution of the SCCT concept in the direction of increasing the visibility of supply chains are analyzed.
