IIG F7 engaged in production of safe organic Terragumat fertilizer signed a MoU with Iranian Amitisgen MED TECH Group.
The parties agreed that the Ulyanovsk company would supply and install a production line, provide staff training and further engineering and technological consulting for the project. In addition, IIG F7 would supply raw materials for the Iranian production line. On its export path, the company has enjoyed support from Russian Export Center (part of REC Group and VEB.RF).
The document was signed by Dr. Mohammad Ali Saremi, President of Amitisgen MED TECH Group, and Evgeny Popov, Manager IIG F7.
“We are happy we can benefit from such an innovative product. Agricultural products are fundamental non-oil exports for the Republic of Iran and most of them, such as fruit, vegetables and green herbs, go to the neighboring countries and Gulf countries. We know that institutions in Poland, India and Italy are testing such a product at the moment. According to our arrangements, launch of the first reactor for extracting liquid growth enhancer Terragumat is scheduled for early 2023,” said Dr. Mohammad Ali Saremi.
The Russian-Iranian project run by IIG F7 and Amitisgen MED TECH Group is awarded the Green Diplomacy title. It is aimed at supporting the environment through the use of safe organic fertilizers in agriculture. The Ulyanovsk technology ensures production of an absolutely eco-friendly and safe organic preparation for plant growth enhancement, better quality and increased crop yields.
Terragumat developed by Ulyanovsk-based IIG F7 is also characterized in that you need just 80g of dry matter for one-time treatment of one hectare of agricultural lands to have a 10%-30% increase in yields. Terragumat makes mineral fertilizers more effective by 25% to 45% and generally reduces the cost of agricultural products by 20% to 25%. The advantages of the Russian development are vital for Iran, and this project has gained support from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia.
According to Alexander Rumyantsev, Minister of the Ulyanovsk Region, the region has always focused on innovation and has widely backed local businessmen. “We are proud that our entrepreneurs at such difficult times of the pandemic do not cut back on their businesses and that Russian developments are successful in the global tech race. Transition to organic agriculture is a global trend that is gaining popularity worldwide. We hope that the recent Ulyanovsk development will also be in demand. We have already signed a contract with a Vietnamese company for equipment supplies and cooperation agreements with companies in India and the UAE, while negotiations with Poland, Germany, Sri Lanka, Peru and Brazil are underway. And all this was done amid the closed borders and restricted international air travel”.
“We enjoy support from all development institutions and agencies in the Ulyanovsk region,” said Evgeny Popov, Manager IIG F7. — However, the Dmitrovgrad PDA has really helped us in the early days through its exclusive loyal conditions for implementation of the investment project”.
The project of IIG F7 was supported by the Ulyanovsk Region Foundation for the Development and Finance of Entrepreneurship, while the regional Export Support Center (ESC, within REC’s support framework) provides comprehensive assistance to the company under several foreign contracts and export support. ANO Innovative Development Agency of the Ulyanovsk Region helps research institutes and universities in the registration of intellectual rights and provides financial and organizational support in promoting their products.
“Exports of Russian innovative products are one of the mainstreams that REC backs. Our fundamental goal is to help companies that are entering new markets or expanding their supplies geographically. The wide range of REC’s non-financial and financial support instruments helps exporters overcome barriers and cope with any situations when they enter international markets. We, together with colleagues in the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region, prop the project up in the negotiations between the parties and expect export deliveries in the near future,” said Ksenia Tagirova, Senior Managing Director for Non-Financial Products and Foreign Network Development.
