28 ноября в Москве в отеле «Золотое кольцо» прошел XI форум «Склады России: итоги года!».
Russian sealing operator Digital Platform Development Center (DPDC) and Directorate of International Transport Corridors (DITC) signed a roadmap for the introduction of the Service for Tracking Goods Transportation using electronic navigation seals (ENS) on international transport corridors.
Roadmap describes the conduct of a technology pilot to confirm the possibility of using ENS in the EU countries. "Vediafi Oy", digital logistics service provider from Finland will act as the pilot's partner from the European Union side.
Test transportation will take place before the end of 2021. Electronic navigation seal will be installed on a vehicle with cargo authorized for transit in Finland, and removed at the Torfyanovka customs checkpoint. Transportation and electronic navigation seal information will be registered in the information system of the Digital Platforms Development Center. The movement of the vehicle will be tracked in the "DITC" System on the entire route.
"Installation of an electronic navigation seal in the country of cargo shipment will significantly speed up its delivery due to accelerated customs procedures. As a result, land routes through the territory of Russia will have even more advantages compared with traditional delivery routes through the Suez Canal. The difference in cost and time could be up to 30%," comments Sergey Kiselev, technical director of "DITC" LLC.
In the future, "DITC" LLC and "DPDC" ANO will conduct a number of experiments to test the functioning of the Service for Tracking Goods Transportation using electronic navigation seals on international transport corridors.
"The use of digital technologies on international transport corridors will significantly simplify and accelerate the delivery of goods, as well as allow us to revise existing control procedures at the border. In the future, the use of digital tools, including electronic seals, will make it possible to organize non-stop transportation of goods through checkpoints," comments Alexey Petrov, CEO of "DPDC" ANO .
