Kuehne + Nagel expands its eCommerce fulfilment and last mile delivery operations including cash collection throughout Russia

Moscow, RUS, February 20, 2020 – Kuehne + Nagel expanded KN OmniChain, its innovative global eCommerce programme, in the Russian logistics market. Tailored to the specific needs of customers from the booming eCommerce market, KN OmniChain is an integrated one-stop-shop logistics solution geared to optimizing fulfilment throughout the entire supply chain and to getting products to and back from consumers reliably and efficiently.

The solution offers in particular that Kuehne + Nagel is in charge of Fulfilment and Last mile delivery services by handling the delivery requests to parcel carriers via data exchange interfaces, the printing of shipping labels in the required format of parcel carriers, the processing of reply messages, the execution of cash-on-delivery services, the sending of delivery status information to the customer, the monitoring of deliveries and payments as well as Returns management. The comprehensive last-mile delivery package KN OmniChain comes as an effective enhancement of Kuehne + Nagel’s advanced fulfilment services such as: inbound/outbound operations, storage, returns management of goods as well as its popular value-added fulfilment operations: packing, repacking, price labelling, adding of inserts and tags, product quality checks and communication with the customer’s service centre for permanent quality improvements.
