Deutsche Messe RUS, the organizer of the international exhibition for materials handling, warehousing equipment and logistics CeMAT RUSSIA and international exhibition for transport packaging, packaging machinery and automation TRANSPACK, decided to postpone the trade shows which were scheduled to be held from 22 to 24 of September 2020.
Exhibitions will take place from 21 to 23 of September 2021 at Crocus Expo IEC, pavilion 1.
“The ongoing Corona crisis is making adjustments to this year's event schedule. The constant postponement of the opening of the borders of the Russian Federation and the unfavorable epidemiological situation in a number of regions of the country threaten the participation of foreign companies and regional manufacturers in the exhibition, of which more than half of the total number of exhibitors. We have decided to hold CeMAT RUSSIA and TRANSPACK exhibitions in the traditional format next year. This year’s exhibition jeopardized the quality of the event and the safety of our guests, and for us these two factors are the main ones”, says Natalya Kalmykova, Director of the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition. “This not an easy decision for us and it was made based on the wishes of our exhibitors and as a result of negotiations with the exhibition venue. We cannot put either the brand itself, which has a long history in Russia, or the participants and visitors at risk, which keeps them in limbo. Our solution allows everyone to adjust their plans for the fall in time”.
The main goal of participation in the exhibition has always been and remains the development of business and gaining new contacts. In 2020, we propose to participate in the online exhibition platform CeMAT RUSSIA and TRANSPACK, which will be launched on the scheduled dates of this year - from 22 to 23 of September 2020. This is not a substitute of the exhibition, this is a new event format that will allow us to get out of the situation today with the least losses, will ensure complete safety and maintain business activity in the period traditional for the Russian exhibition market.
“The postponement of events to 2021 will not only strengthen Deutsche Messe RUS's reputation as a reliable partner, but also give our current and future participants the time they need to prepare for the CeMAT RUSSIA and TRANSPAСK exhibitions with the highest quality. The digital platform for communication and demonstration of products and solutions, which we are launching this year, will become a natural addition to the exhibitions in the traditional format next year”, added Nadezhda Talanova, Director of the TRANSPACK exhibition.
