In order to improve the cross-border trade between Russia and China, the postal operators of the two countries agreed to jointly develop the logistics service “cPacket”.
The main objective of the “cPacket” service also referred to as traceable small packet, is the control over the flow of small traceable shipments in their exchange between the PRC and the Russian Federation.
International line haul for the flow of the “cPacket” items will be arranged via the logistic channel, which is established by the subsidiary company of Russian Post in China- «RP Logistics» Ltd.
As part of the new service, postal operators of Russia and China plan to create the best conditions for fast delivery to Russian buyers and users of the largest online stores, as well as maximum convenience for each customer.
The quality of the logistics process will be ensured by the new aviation logistics scheme and selected routes.
"For several years we have been successfully working with China and this direction makes the largest shipment volumes for us.
Cooperation with China Post in the framework of the “cPacket” service will allow us to more effectively solve the problem of delivery of international orders to the end recipient, while reducing the cost of services due to constantly growing volumes», Denis Ilin, Deputy General Director for International Business of Russian Post JSC noted.
"The new service, created jointly with our Russian colleagues, is entirely aimed at meeting the needs of customers in Russia.
For them, fast and high-quality logistics is a vital component in the process of making purchases on the foreign electronic marketplaces.
As part of the “cPacket” project, we want to offer the market the most affordable solutions for fast logistics and efficient channels for the goods proceeding between the two countries," Mr Liao Tao - Head of Parcels, Express, and Logistics Business Unit of China Post said.
