Dear readers! The tenth issue of LOGISTICS journal opens with a large article dedicated to the results of the BRICS Business Forum, held on October 18, 2024 in Moscow. Yulia Kislova, Director of Agency Market Guide LLC and publisher of LOGISTICS journal, attended the event and prepared an article where she paid special attention to international trade and logistical connectivity of the countries of the association. The National Technology Initiative (NTI) is an integrated program that is aimed to enhance the position of Russian companies in the world high-tech markets. The NTI implementation is one of main priorities of Russia's state policy; the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has declared this in his message to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on December 4, 2014.
The purpose of AutoNet is automation of the transport system. Ultimately, the implementation of the project will lead to the overall autonomy of cargo and passenger motor vehicles and the widespread use of unmanned vehicles.
AutoNet 2.0 project is aimed to enhance the competitiveness of Russian companies in the field of navigation and information services. This strongly requires collaboration between business and the state in order to create highly demanded solutions both for Russian and international markets.
Even today the AutoNet working group is actively working on the global implementation of products and services based on GLONASS technologies and developing partner network in the CIS countries, Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East.
Following the global trends in transport logistics AutoNet 2.0 is working on vehicle automation and multimodal transportation development. Creating new business models based on such emerging world standards as logistics of things, roaming logistics, the concept of connected car and development of electric car.
The RealTrac system developed by the team of RTL Service includes solutions for precise and zone positioning, collision avoidance system, voice communication and RealTrac Internet of Things which allows to collect data from gas and temperature sensors, electricity and water meters and other equipment.
All the above mentioned solutions have proven their efficiency at Russian and foreign mining, manufacturing and logistics centers.
