Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
MODUL Company has published the fifth edition of the book by Professor Eduard Limonov “FOREIGN TRADE OPERATIONS IN SEA TRANSPORT AND MULTIMODAL FREIGHT”. The book illustrates in detail all the main types, varieties and terms of foreign trade agreements in sea transport. It also studies methods of freight operations from planning to transaction processing, examines the freight market and its environment.
The new edition revises all the chapters of the former publishing, provides an up-date as for the year 2016, and reflects the late changes in legal, technical and commercial aspects of sea transport and multimodal transportations. Moreover a number of new sections were created specially for this edition. For the first time the book “FOREIGN TRADE OPERATIONS IN SEA TRANSPORT AND MULTIMODAL FREIGHT” contains full colour materials.
The book by Prof. Limonov has been recommended by the Academic Methodological Association of Education in the Field of Water Transport of the Ministry of General and Professional Education of the Russian Federation as a course book for high school with a specialization in «Transport and Logistics Management», as well as a training manual for specialization «Economics and Management». The book is also well recommended as a reference book and as a manual for advanced training of graduates in forwarding, brokerage, and shipping and foreign trade companies.
