METRO will be the official partner of the Supply Chain Cup 2020 case championship among promising students in the field of supply chain management.
METRO is a partner of the championship for the second time. In addition to the Supply Chain Cup, the company has been participating in the Modern Trade Code Championship dedicated to modern trading for several years. The championships are hosted by Changellenge, a company dedicated to preparing students for market entry in various fields. Traditionally, METRO Supply Chain Cup 2020 will feature several experts in the jury and panel discussion. Experts will evaluate students' work and provide advice, and finalists will have a chance to do an internship with the company. Last year, following the results of the championship, out of 2,400 participants, five students with the most remarkable cases in supply chain management got an internship.
During three weeks of participation in the Supply Chain Cup, students will practice on real cases of large business, understand supply chain management, learn how to work in a team, find and analyze information, structure ideas and correctly convey them to management. For METRO, partnership in such events means participating in the formation of high standards for young professionals and tracking trends in the labor market.
