- MAN Truck & Bus RUS studied how the pandemic affected truck drivers all over Russia.

More than 50 long-haul drivers took part in the survey. - More than 71% of them keep going on regular runs and delivering goods to cities and towns.
- In coping with stress, they turn to the support of the family (46%), work (21%), tasty food and hope for the best.
MAN Truck & Bus RUS carried out a survey to learn how the pandemic affected truck drivers all over Russia.
More than 71% of them keep going on regular runs. Most of them (29%) do not feel that anything has changed in their work due to the pandemic, 14% face minor challenges, and only 9% of the drivers complained about the virus situation greatly affecting their work processes.
Most difficulties come from the need for additional documents to receive pass permits and safety measures such as regular cab disinfection and wearing a mask and gloves. In this challenging time, drivers turn to the support of the family and loved ones (46%), work (21%), tasty food and hope for the best to cope with stress.
MAN Truck & Bus RUS also asked the drivers what they would recommend to their colleagues and other Russian citizens. Here are the most interesting answers:
“Comply with the necessary safety measures: use hygiene products and sanitizers, wash your hands, and wear gloves.”
“Russian people are used to winning in any situation. The most important thing is to stay together and support each other in this challenging time.”
