IPG.Estate closed a deal for the lease of industrial, warehouse and office facilities. The "Nevskiye Vesy" group of companies leased premises in Primorsky district from Management Company "LOMO".
The management company "LOMO-Estate" closed a lease deal of industrial and office premises with a total area around 5,000 square meters in the industrial area located in Primorsky district of St. Petersburg, within walking distance from the metro station “Staraya Derevnya”.
The tenant is a "Nevskiye Vesy" group of companies, which produces non-standard weighing equipment. The leased production facility with an area of 4250 sq. m, allows placing of energy-consuming production, using a crane-beam for lifting and moving of large-sized cargoes. The ceiling height is 10 meters. The office facilities with a total area of 740 sq. m with full fit-out.
“Today production and manufacturing companies are actively searching for suitable production and storage facilities, primarily due to the tendency of releasing production sites for residential development and production expansion”, – noticed Filipp Chayka, the warehouse and industrial property director of IPG.Estate. – Undoubtedly, the key requirements of large manufacturing companies to the premises relate to the availability of lifting equipment: the most popular request is a crane-beam with a carrying capacity of 10 tons, and the allocated electric power must be from 500 kW and above».
The expert also admitted that currently there is a shortage of quality production facilities on the market. Most frequently leases are offered in old production buildings.
