Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. IPG.Estate closed a deal for the lease of industrial, warehouse and office facilities. The "Nevskiye Vesy" group of companies leased premises in Primorsky district from Management Company "LOMO".
The management company "LOMO-Estate" closed a lease deal of industrial and office premises with a total area around 5,000 square meters in the industrial area located in Primorsky district of St. Petersburg, within walking distance from the metro station “Staraya Derevnya”.
The tenant is a "Nevskiye Vesy" group of companies, which produces non-standard weighing equipment. The leased production facility with an area of 4250 sq. m, allows placing of energy-consuming production, using a crane-beam for lifting and moving of large-sized cargoes. The ceiling height is 10 meters. The office facilities with a total area of 740 sq. m with full fit-out.
“Today production and manufacturing companies are actively searching for suitable production and storage facilities, primarily due to the tendency of releasing production sites for residential development and production expansion”, – noticed Filipp Chayka, the warehouse and industrial property director of IPG.Estate. – Undoubtedly, the key requirements of large manufacturing companies to the premises relate to the availability of lifting equipment: the most popular request is a crane-beam with a carrying capacity of 10 tons, and the allocated electric power must be from 500 kW and above».
The expert also admitted that currently there is a shortage of quality production facilities on the market. Most frequently leases are offered in old production buildings.
