
Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. On 30 November – 2 December, 2016 the International exhibition TransBaltic will be held at the International Conventional & Exhibition Centre EXPOFORUM, St. Petersburg, Russia.
TransBaltic is the only one in the North-West Russia International exhibition, which presents transportation, logistics and customs services, technical means and warehouse technologies at one sight.
The first TransBaltic exhibition was held in March, 2015 and immediately earned the status of an up-selling efficient tool in the Baltic region. According to the customers and visitors wishes the next exhibition period is rescheduled for the autumn. The new period will allow both exhibitors and visitors to put the show in their daily schedule of transport events and to distribute their resources for maximal results.
TransBaltic is a unique venue for direct dialogue with cargo owners, for demonstration of transport sector production, services and technologies to the wide range of Russian and foreign companies in the transport industry of the North-West Russia.
The show will present package proposals in the field of transport and logistics; effective solutions of cargo delivery and storage cost optimization; logistics and customs expert advice. The exhibition will also provide opportunities for negotiations with service and equipment suppliers.
3302 people visited the exhibition in 2015. 39% of visitors were logistics managers of companies in different fields: food, chemical, automobile industries, household appliances and office equipment production, oil industry, etc.

The visitors’ audience is unique: 42% of visitors do not visit other exhibitions of similar subjects.
In 2016, within the business programme, a number of production problem-solving events will be held. ‘Integration of transport and logistics complex of the Baltic region’ is in focus.
