Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.
Liberty Insurance summed up the financial results for the 9 months ended September 30, 2018. The company wrote 3.4 billion rubles of premium, an increase of 16.9% over the same period in 2017. Under the insurance contracts 1.7 billion rubles have been paid. Loss ratio of all lines of business amounted to 52.1%. Profit before tax amounted to 137.5 million rubles.
The largest premium volume was provided by sales of MOD (1 238 million rubles), CMTPL (566 million rubles), voluntary medical insurance (459 million rubles) and mortgage insurance (317 million rubles). The highest dynamics of premium growth was achieved in VMI (+64.3%), accident (+42.9%) and mortgage insurance (+30.2%).

In February 2018 RAEX (Expert RA) rating agency confirmed the rating of Liberty Insurance at «ruAA+» (a high level of creditworthiness, financial reliability and strength) with stable outlook. In September 2018 Liberty Insurance completed the process of the share capital increase up to 600.040 million rubles. Thus the company already meets law requirements for share capital amount that will enter into force in 2020-2022.
Liberty Insurance actively develops its sales channels that support the financial results. In the reported period the growth of broker channel was 57.5%, dealers 37%, bankassurance 29.8%. In June 2018 in order to widen the agent channel the project of development partners’ chain was launched in Moscow branch. The ongoing process on new agents’ engaging, their education and adaptation helped Liberty Insurance to widen its client portfolio and increase the volume of premium.
In July 2018 in order to increase customers’ loyalty Liberty Insurance launched the program jointly with Aeroflot Bonus. The clients have an opportunity to get miles for travel and motor insurance purchased at Liberty Insurance. Also the company has a partnership with S7 Priority loyalty program and Svyaznoy-Club bonus program.
