Dear readers! The tenth issue of LOGISTICS journal opens with a large article dedicated to the results of the BRICS Business Forum, held on October 18, 2024 in Moscow. Yulia Kislova, Director of Agency Market Guide LLC and publisher of LOGISTICS journal, attended the event and prepared an article where she paid special attention to international trade and logistical connectivity of the countries of the association. Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, GCEO of Emirates Post Group (EPG) honored the winners of the 50th International Letter Writing Competition that was themed “Write a letter to a family member about your experience of Covid-19" and organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), in a ceremony held at EPG’s headquarters in Dubai.
Speaking in the presence of participants and their parents, Alashram highlighted the importance of the competition in empowering UAE talents by providing them the opportunity to express themselves through writing and encouraging them to communicate their personal experiences in coping with the current challenges. He emphasized EPG’s commitment as a member of the UPU to empower young talents and support the international organization’s projects and initiatives.
Due to an overwhelming response and excellent submissions, EPG decided to commend the students and aspiring writers in two categories based on the submission language: Arabic and English. Emerging victorious in the Arabic category were, Moza Saif Almehrizi who won first place, followed by Moza Hamad Alrahmani for second place, and students Khalid Nasser Nurani and Mohammed Sari Al Qasti both tied for third place. As for the winners of the English category, they included Fatima Mohammed Alfalasi who won first place, Aishwarya Karthik won second, and Ayesha Adenwala and Zaid Mohammed Dahrouj both tied for third place.
