Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
Logist.Cloud is an advanced solution in transportation services market. Due to a new service integrated, B2B-Center extends e-marketplace functionality, now enabling clients to cover the entire supply chain cycle via a “one-stop shop” solution.
Many companies are still contacting their transportation providers by e-mail or by phone, thus spending a lot of time on communication. Logist.Cloud acts as a helpful agent. The service may be integrated with 1С software suite and other corporate systems, the relevant document are generated automatically and signed with e-signature, and the route of every cargo moving can be tracked in real-time mode. Due to automation of logistics function and working via a single interface, there is a saving of up to 50% of a team's time.
“We have been acquainted with Logist.Cloud almost from the time of their establishment. Over two years, they have made a breakthrough. We have worked together in testing mode, after which a decision was taken to acquire the company in order to develop this business line as our own product. The market is now starting to see logistics as a vital part of procurement process. The clients of B2B-Center will be able to work in a single circuit and to procure logistics services via a specialized platform, which is fully integrated with our main e-marketplace”, explains Olga Gromkova, Chief Executive Officer of B2B-Center.
Logistics is a part of procurement circuit with its own specific aspects. Usually companies hold requests for tenders once a year, selecting a transportation provider for a long period, but this is not always expedient. Logist.Cloud allows to find a contractor for each separate shipment in “quick bidding” mode — from one business day to 30 minutes. This allows to cut transportation costs by up to 17% as compared to the fixed rates.
“Initially we conceived of Logist.Cloud as a service to help any organization to build a transparent, automated and systematic logistics function. And we succeeded in that, now the major Russian companies and over 4000 carriers are working with us. Together with B2B-Center, we offer a competitive cloud-based solution to the market,” says Semen Grishin, the founder of Logist.Cloud.
