Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.
Dear readers! We present to your attention the eighth issue of the magazine and its materials.
Dear readers! This is the seventh issue of LOGISTICS. By tradition, in the July issue, we publish analytical reviews from our partners – a study of the market of low-temperature warehouses in Moscow and the Moscow region from the IBC Real Estate agency and a rating of Russian transport companies by the cost of delivering bulk cargoes in 2025 from the Main Transport Internet project.
AirBridgeCargo Airlines and ATRAN Airlines, air cargo carriers within Volga-Dnepr Group, have organized dedicated charters to transport much-needed medical equipment from Moscow (SVO) to Krasnoyarsk (KJA) on behalf of Moscow Government.
Within two days three freighters delivered masks, beds, mattresses, and artificial respiration units onboard Boeing 747-8F and Boeing 737-800BCF to Krasnoyarsk. The cargo was further trucked to Kyzyl (Republic of Tyva, Russia) to equip the National Hospital No.1 of the city.
“During these turbulent times, we are honored to contribute, both globally and nationally, into a common fight against COVID-19, supporting professionals with essential equipment. Since the outbreak, we have been working on enhancement and adjustment of our services, adapting them to strict safety measures throughout the whole supply chain, and sharpening the expertise of our specialists. Together with other carriers within Volga-Dnepr Group, we have more than three decades of experience of working under severe epidemiologic conditions in various regions of the world”, - highlighted Nikolay Glushnev, General Director of AirBridgeCargo Airlines.
Both carriers have refocused their operations to transport as much medical equipment to various regions of the world as possible. For the first 6 months of 2020 AirBridgeCargo and ATRAN Airlines have flown over 20,000 tons of dedicated healthcare cargo to combat COVID-19 and eliminate its spread.
