Dear readers! We are pleased to present to you the eleventh issue of the journal in 2025. There are a lot of relevant and useful materials in the issue, which, hopefully, will not be ignored.
Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.
Dear readers! This is the ninth issue of the journal, which turned out to be very rich and diverse. Traditionally, the issue is opened by an analyst. The material by Alina Nasyrova from the Market Guide Agency, dedicated to investments in warehouse complexes in Russia, recalls the importance of developing logistics infrastructure for the integrated development of regions.

In 2019 in accordance with our traditions we release the first issue on the eve of the Moscow International Logistics Forum (MFF). This is an important meeting of industry professionals, where the results of the past year are discussed, development plans for the near future are made.
In front of you there is the 12th issue of the journal, by means of which we are completing the year of 2018. At the end of the year it is a good practice to sum up and make plans for the future. Leading players in the warehouse market, for example, have already done this at the end of November during the VI Annual Round Table on Warehouse Real Estate - Industrial Bollywood. You can read the details about the event on the pages of the journal.
We present to your attention the 11th issue of the journal, in which we have tried to collect relevant and reliable information, ranging from classic supply chains to logistic innovations.
For those who are interested in innovations in the field of logistics, we recommend to read the article written in Comitas company on high-speed sorting systems, as well as the article written in the STILL company, which shares its experience in automating the new European distribution center of the CASA furniture store network.
As you know, logistics, acting as an indicator of economic phenomena in the country and in the world, seeks to optimize the costs and improve the efficiency of business processes. Today, this trend is most clearly seen and companies are striving to get really working tools for efficient logistics management. CeMAT RUSSIA 2018 exhibition (we inform about its results on the pages of the tenth issue), as well as the LOGISTICS journal, which helps find various technological and organizational solutions for optimizing logistic processes in companies, can be considered to be such tools.
The events of recent weeks demonstrate high business activity in the field of logistics. This is confirmed by the emergence of new non-standard events, such as the first Congress of Managers and Specialists in Logistics and Supply Chains of Manufacturers and Retailers, participants and partners of the Council of Supply Chain Professionals, as well as the first Russian Forum – "Logistics Leaders 2018" where the leaders of international and Russian companies gathered.
The spring of 2018 was full of events. In April we took part in the TransRussia exhibition 2018, then we left for the CeMAT exhibition in Hanover, where according to traditions “LOGISTICS” journal presented a digest in English – RUSSIAN LOGISTICS JOURNAL – to the audience. Then we left Hanover for Ireland to be present at the opening of a new plant of the Combilift company. The report materials on the results of these events can be found on the pages of the new issue.

The third issue of the journal in 2018 is devoted to transport logistics. It is the development of transport technologies that affects the acceleration or slowdown of the country's development. For Russia with its vast territories, transport logistics is of particular importance, and its problems solution requires both scientific and practical approaches.
We, in accordance with the tradition, release the first issue of 2018 on the eve of the XXI Moscow International Logistics Forum (MMLF), which is the most important meeting of industry professionals, where the results of the past year, the development plans for the near future, the practice of successful management of logistics by the companies from various industries, the development and implementation of new systems and technologies are discussed.
Dear readers! In 2017 "LOGISTICS" journal celebrated its 20th anniversary. Over the years the publication has become one of the most authoritative and respected in the industry. For many years, we have never deviated from our main rule ‒ to cover only pressing problems and the experience of the optimal organization of resource flows, combining both science and practice. We do our best to select effective practices and solutions for logisticians, and the 12th, the final issue of the journal, is no exception.
