Dear Readers! Now you see the first issue of the “LOGISTICS” journal in 2020. By tradition, we release it on the eve of the Moscow International Logistics Forum (MILF). This is a very important meeting of industry professionals, where the results of the past year are discussed, and the plans for the near future are drawn up.
In 2020, most of the Russian companies will continue to head for optimization of logistics processes and costs, automation and digitalization. For example, Magnit company intends to increase the efficiency of the supply chain of fresh and ultrafresh products, while Leroy Merlin increases productivity and reduces the impact on the environment by changing the packaging format (you’ll find the details in the issue).
InStock Technologies company offers a special approach to managing production logistics. Dmitry Filatov, the Director for business development of the company, talks about the merits of the new development.
How to keep the budget with the help of automated logistic processes and why are professional logistic services more efficient than self-written programs? These questions are answered by Evgenia Plotnikova, Director of Strategic Development, S2B Group.
On the eve of the New Year, the editorial board of the “LOGISTICS” journal initiated a round table, devoted to the uberisation of the logistics industry.
