On its pages, we summarize the results of the international exhibition of logistics, transport, warehouse equipment and Logistika Expo, which became the main premiere of this year. Our editorial staff took part in the event, as a result of which they made useful acquaintances and found new readers. In the latest issue, we continue the topic of automation and robotization in the industry.
Dear friends! We present to your attention the fifth issue of Logistics for 2024. Like you, our dear readers, we see an increasing trend of digitalization and automation of the logistics industry, and more and more authors are paying attention to it.
Kirill Tolmachev, Deputy Chairman of the RF Chamber of Commerce in Logistics, Ph.D. in Engineering, a member of the Editorial Council of the “LOGISTICS” journal, addressed to Readers.
In his opening speech, he stressed that a policy of replacing imported products with the goods produced in Russia and the countries ‒ participants of the Customs Union (EAEU), accepted by our country, leads to a change of the current supply chains. The key feature of this process has become a constant and emerging power generation of new trade flows within the regions of the Russian Federation, followed by distribution throughout the country.
He pointed out that this year the “LOGISTICS” journal was launched on the international sites, and found the possibility of direct access to information of potential foreign partners. Kirill Tolmachev expressed the hope that the annual digest of the “LOGISTICS” journal would fill the information vacuum with objective information and would facilitate the establishment of direct partnerships between Russian and foreign companies in the field of logistics.
The interview with Vladimir Eskin, the managing partner of "STC TRANSSISTEMOTEHNIKA", Ph.D. in Economics, will arouse great interest of Readers. He spoke about the development trends of the domestic logistics market under crisis and outlined the methods to improve the efficiency of logistics management.
