Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
As you know, logistics, acting as an indicator of economic phenomena in the country and in the world, seeks to optimize the costs and improve the efficiency of business processes. Today, this trend is most clearly seen and companies are striving to get really working tools for efficient logistics management. CeMAT RUSSIA 2018 exhibition (we inform about its results on the pages of the tenth issue), as well as the LOGISTICS journal, which helps find various technological and organizational solutions for optimizing logistic processes in companies, can be considered to be such tools.
In the latest issue, new communication tools in logistics management are discussed ‒ Dmitry Shiryaev, the Head of the transport department of Sovtransavto-Moscow, informs about the use of IT solutions aimed at logistics processes automation.
Timur Kurbanov, Arthur Kurbanov, and Sergey Luchkin, continue this topic and explore possible prospects and risks of introducing digital logistics technologies in the supply chains. Changes in the approach to logistics on the manufacturers’ side are considered by Sergey Potapov, Director of logistics of ProfHolod, major manufacturer of sandwich panels with polyurethane foam insulation.

Lyubov Berezhnaya presents a study of various approaches to the definition of the concepts of "transport" and "logistics" infrastructure and argues the position of the need to abandon the use of the term "transport and logistics" infrastructure.

The authors analyze how car emissions not only pollute the environment, causing significant economic damage to car owners, but also hamper the further increase in road transport.
