Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
The second issue of the “LOGISTICS” journal in 2017 is devoted to the interaction of logistics and retail, and the problems arising out of their cooperation. The information placed in the issue describes the development of the retail market and related areas, and will be of interest to the employees of the structures mentioned.
The crisis phenomena of recent years has had a negative impact on the finances of the majority of Russians, their purchasing power has decreased substantially. The middle class has suffered greatly, their growing appetite in the fat years accelerated the growth of GDP. The volume of consumers lending has decreased, and its conditions have tightened. Decline in demand has spread throughout the supply chain and caused business to optimize its operations and to deal with the costs. However, this has made it possible for retail chains, dictating conditions in the market, to shift part of their costs to suppliers. The article by Vyacheslav Holopov “The retailer is in the warehouse market in 2017: is the price negotiable?” is devoted to this problem. The review by Natalia Kireeva et al “Analysis of the warehouse property market of C and D classes in Moscow and Moscow region” is about the market of lower categories warehouses.
The crisis has renewed the debates about what is more profitable: to use its own resources or to outsource the logistics services. The articles by Vasily Grigoriev “Logistics of online retailers: their own warehouse or outsourcing?”, Dmitry Stapran “How and why do companies outsource logistics in Russia? ”, by Dmitry Kolchugin
“On the issue of outsourcing in logistics of online stores” are dedicated to this problem. In the Interview with Eldar Usmanov, Head of logistics services in “Prodo” company, the problem of outsourcing is also touched upon “We are making a choice in favor of 3pl-providing”.
The Editorial board of the “LOGISTICS” journal always encourages readers to participate in the dialogue. Due to comprehensive discussion there is an opportunity to study a problem and propose the ways of solving it.
