Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
Oleg Kurbatov, Editor-in-Chief of the “LOGISTICS” journal, PhD of Geography, addressed to the readers of the eleventh issue of the journal. According to O. Kurbatov, the Russian economy was going to move to the growth and the evidence of this are the main economic indicators. The editorial board has lately begun to familiarize the readers with these indicators on the website of the journal. The freight flow begins to increase slightly, the prices for residential real estate are crawling up, business activities revive. The consumer demand is still very weak, the level of investments is low, but there is some hope for a positive trend. All of these indicate that the time has come to launch the delayed start-ups and to implement not survival plans, but the development plans. New issue of the “LOGISTICS” journal gives possible assistance with presenting the latest information in the logistics industry and acting as a platform for professional exchange of views.
Those, who are interested in innovations in the field of logistics, can read the materials of SSI Schäfer company, concerning the automation of low-temperature warehouses and the article by Mariya Malyutina devoted to integrated lighting systems in the warehouses. Theoretical and practical part of the journal contains the articles by Vladimir Petrakov, Tatiana Tsenina and Ekaterina Tsenina dedicated to sea transportation; the paper by Nadezhda Filippova and Vladimir Belyaev, concerning the methods of planning to deliver goods to the Northern regions of our country.
