Dear readers! We present to your attention the final issue of the LOGISTICS journal in 2024. We have tried to make it rich and interesting. Today, many Russian companies operate under strict sanctions restrictions, which force them to reorient logistics flows. One of the possible solutions to this problem may be the Russia – Mongolia – China economic corridor. Details can be found in the article by Alexandra Kazunina.
The "LOGISTICS" journal acted as information partner of the II Conference of Managers and Specialists in Logistics and Supply Chains - Producers and Retailers, which took place on the 22nd of November 2016 at “Aerostar” Hotel, "Petrovsky" hall.
The event was organized by the "Council of Professionals in the Supply Chains", Association for promoting the development of the logistics and supply chain by companies - manufacturers and retailers. The conference was supported by the Russian Association of retail experts and the Association of manufacturers and suppliers of food products ‒ "Rusprodsojuz".
COMITAS, CROC, CUSTIS, KNAPP, Leader Team, NAWINIA, Raven Russia, S2B, TRANSPOREON, Unipooling, VENTRA, viastore Systems, SPETSservis were the partners of the Conference.
Organizers of the event managed to achieve the main objective of the conference ‒ to work out and provide theparticipants with the concrete plans of action concerning the solution of the complex problems facing the companies and sophisticated multi-functional tasks to improve the logistics and supply chain.
The work was conducted in groups, this format allowed to discuss a large number of issues to improve the supply chains. Conference participants step by step went from the idea generation to solutions of the problems declared, from the selection of ideas and the development of plans to implement the solutions to their defense in the working groups. At the end of the working day of the conference, all the participants received a unique Book with reports, containing specific plans for implementation of the solutions concerning all the issues discussed in groups.
So, taking part in the conference allowed the participants to get an exclusive and practical methodological guidance, which can be an excellent methodological basis for further improvement of logistics and supply chains in the companies-participants.
