On its pages, we summarize the results of the international exhibition of logistics, transport, warehouse equipment and Logistika Expo, which became the main premiere of this year. Our editorial staff took part in the event, as a result of which they made useful acquaintances and found new readers. In the latest issue, we continue the topic of automation and robotization in the industry.
Dear friends! We present to your attention the fifth issue of Logistics for 2024. Like you, our dear readers, we see an increasing trend of digitalization and automation of the logistics industry, and more and more authors are paying attention to it.
We, in accordance with the tradition, release the first issue of 2018 on the eve of the XXI Moscow International Logistics Forum (MMLF), which is the most important meeting of industry professionals, where the results of the past year, the development plans for the near future, the practice of successful management of logistics by the companies from various industries, the development and implementation of new systems and technologies are discussed. In 2018 the problems of logistic processes and costs optimization, the methodology for implementation of integrated supply chain management are still relevant for the majority of the Russian companies. Under conditions of an unstable financial situation for many production, distribution and logistics enterprises, the formation of modern competencies in logistics is becoming an important direction to increase economic efficiency and sustainability. The MMLF-2018 program, as well as the new issue of the LOGISTICS journal, are devoted to solving these and related problems.
On the pages of the first issue we pay special attention to logistics technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency of the warehouse. So, in their article Yulia Rodionova and Tatyana Rodkina consider what you can do to shorten the length of the kitting process. The authors reveal the key conditions for the use of warehouse technologies and consider the problems of their implementation in the warehouse. In his paper Daurenbek Ilesaliev gives specific recommendations how to organize and manage a warehouse.
