Dear readers! In September the CeMAT RUSSIA exhibition was held, which showed everyone that innovations and robotics are increasingly penetrating the logistics industry. We can safely say that many technologies are tested here, and only then they go out into the world. However, it is not only CeMAT RUSSIA that demonstrates the prevalence of the digital agenda.

Dear readers! A double issue of the Logistics journal for 2023 is being prepared for publication. At No. 7-8, dedicated to the 13th International Exhibition of warehouse equipment and systems, lifting and transport equipment, warehouse automation and logistics services SeMAT Russia, interesting and relevant scientific and practical materials and analytics are waiting for you. On the pages of the latest issue, you will learn how to implement an integrated approach to sending prefabricated pallets with cargo using the Solvo. WMS system.
Our author, a recognized expert in the field of warehouse automation, General Director of Concept Logic LLC K.S. Tolmachev in his article will consider the factors leading to the automation of warehouse systems, as well as clarify the understanding of the term "automated warehouse".
